well, i got to the location for my jewelry show thursday-which was an accomplishment in itself! had to drive in larger cities! anyhoo-i was setting up all my wonderful creations and everyone was ‘oohhhing’ and ‘ahhhing’ and really excited-but-then the salesman/supplier for their products came in–this was at a fairly upscale hair salon–he started laughing, and joking all the while he was handing out statements of amounts due like they were favors at a birthday party!!! short version of story–he got the money that should have been mine! boo hoo! i made one sale-recouped my gas for the trip at least-left lots of cards and good will-so maybe something wil come of this after all–timing is everything isn’t it!
